This is the second time we have seen this song in season 9, (one was clearly inferior) but we shall compare those two with Mr. Castro from season 7. So, will it be Dreds? The long lost JoBro? or the Paint Salesman?

I’ve read that Simon owns the rights to “Hallelujah” which seems to be a conflict of interest in allowing him to pick it for a singer. At best it’s simply disingenuous.
If it’s done on Idol more than once next year it should be put in the “Against All Odd” zone.
