Idol Countdown: Day 3

January 4th, 2009

On this third day of the countdown to American Idol 8, here are three of my fave performances from last season (in chronological order). These may not be the typical favorites, like Billie Jean, so I guess I will call it three great overlooked performances from Season 7:

First, David Cook wowed us with his rendition of Lionel Richie’s Hello. I would call this his break out performance.

Next, Brooke White, when she sang Let It Be. Maybe not the best vocal, but such a great and moving performance!

And last but not least, the moment Syesha finally came alive, singing One Rock and Roll Too Many:

I still love this one so much.

Ok, I am ready for Season 8!
