Hop aboard the gossip train, people! News today:
Jessica Sierra was arrested on Saturday in Tampa. She threw a glass at some guy, and then was arrested, and while in the squad car had to be threatened with leg restraints because she was kicking the squad car windows so hard. And, then they found coke in her purse. Triple ouch. (nice mug, Jes)
- Paula got a little testy on a recent flight.
- Britney wants to rock it with Sanjaya. Really, Britney - seriously now.
- I don’t even know if I want to venture into this controversy, but some are saying the voting is rigged.
- “And year after year, [American Idol] contestants look like a new campaign for United Colors of Benetton.”
- If you put money on Jordin at the beginning of the season, you could be very rich in about 4 weeks.
- Idol raised at least $60 Million for charity during Idol Gives Back. Not too shabby!

- Kelly Clarkson is goin’ on tour this summer. Is she coming to a city near you?

Oh Jessica. Tsk. Tsk. I think I recall referring to her as a toughened bar chick back then. It was sweet of her to prove me right.
That whole “idol tampers with the vote” stuff cracks me up. Like this is a brand new conspiracy? They act as though that disclaimer at the end of the credits is a new addition. WTF? They keep using as their “reliable source” that kid from the forums who has been right with song spoilers, performance order and wardrobe, but always seems to publish his “breakdown” of votes after the fact. And the blogs? Shucks, if a blogger doesn’t know the difference between persecuted and prosecuted, I don’t put a whole lot of faith in any of their wisdom.
