Really bad day (05/10/06)

This week everyone will go home…but three will return after the obligatory homecoming celebrations.
And OMG I have heard rumors of medleys…good lord this is exciting. I am scared that it might be Chris tonight, but in about 29 minutes we will know for sure.
We kick it off with the recap, and are reminded that Simon really didn’t enjoy Taylor’s Jailhouse Rock. Other than that judgement, I pretty much agreed with Simon last night. And before the break, Katharine looks petrified.
After the break we get the Ford Commercial to “Wonderful World” complete with Kermit! Loved It!!! Then its onto the Graceland Tour…we see Priscilla the tour guide, we see Lisa Marie driving a golf cart, i mean what more can you ask for?
And now, folks. Here it it. The Highly Anticipated ELVIS MEDLEY! (And it wasn’t cluttered with Video Clips) FRICKING AWESOME (Especially the ending on the platform)
After the break, Rebecca Romaijn ( i know i spelled this wrong) makes an instant request for a Taylor encore, which I’m sure Simon loved.
And now onto the axing…We have two groups…Elliott and Taylor, Katharine and Chris. After the break, we find out Elliott and Taylor were the top two of the night, and Chris and Katharine were bottom two. And Chris is out tonight.
Well, there’s the shocker. I wanted Chris to take all. He was definitely my favorite this season, but lets look on the bright side for him. Remember Bo Bice? Remember how Bo used to be a “true rocker” and then he had to let 19 Entertainment take his manhood by making the wussiest album ever? yeah.
Well Now that won’t happen to Chris. I think he will be infinitely successful, especially if he fronts a band. The medley was nice tonight, but I’m sad to see my boy go. sad, sad, sad.

WHAT WHAT WHAT! I WAS LAYING DOWN WATCHING IDOL AND I KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE KAT! then when they said who was off i jumped up and banged my head :S it hurt! BUT WHAT WHAT WHAT! CHRIS NOOOOOOOOO hehe 3 weeks till canadian idol!

Absolute BULLSHIT.
No question about it. Chris should still be there. Here’s the deal…
There is no question that Chris Daughtry is an excellent entertainer.
Barnone. His voice is superlative and his stage prsence spectacular.
Kat should have bought the farm tonight. But those over at the vote thebumin.com musta been hacking away and putting in the overtime just to push a “female”singer through on the basis of suppossed “fairness”.
I mean It was 2 girls in the final when Diana took on Fantasia (and shoulda won IMO).
I really think this is how it will play out over the bext several weeks…
Taylor will WIN. That’s not because I’m a huge fan of his that I am saying this. It’s fact. His vocals and stage presence warrant that he wins American Idol.
He is a perfect package for them to promote. He deerves it.
Elliot should place second with Kat in the show spot at third.
Hey runner up artists have had the best luck outside of Kelly Clarkson in terms of record sales, projects and so forth.

Sorry to see you go. I tuned in for you every week.
The execs over at the Recording companies are salivating to get their grimey paws on Chris.
No doubt about it.

Taylorfan, I totally agree. Fuel is probably on the phone with their agent who is currently zooming over to CBS television city to nab him at the afterparty.
I agree that now, i think taylor wil take all.

shock, i wasn’t a chris fan, but he really won me over, i thought he ‘d make it!!!(i am not a rock fan!) but i will buy his album when it comes out, i just hope he doesn’t loose his tender side. but as to the performance lets face it, he was a little monotonous on “little less conversation” and he lost steam on “suspicious minds”. This season has been good for most of the finalists and i think we are waiting to get their albums. Anybody know if Mandisa is signed up yet?also it really should have been Kat to go coz she messed up 2 wks in a row.Keep eliott in!!!

Kat better go home next…she sounds all great and dandy until she hits those SHRILL high notes and it is like nails on a chalkboard! Go home!
A Taylor and Elliot finale would be AWESOME. No one would have predicted that. Go Elliot!!!

I got tired of Chris’ cool guy bit. I was suprised to see him lose to Kat this week, since she’s been pretty bad the last two weeks. Elliott all the way!!

I think Elliot has an incredible voice. He could
definitely win this if he plays his cards right.
He should sing a Springsteen song, perhaps
Hearts of Stone, I was listening to it today and
it sounded like Elliot could pull this off. Maybe
he could get Clarence Clemons to play sax,
that would be great Anyway, he reminds me
of Bruce…..and who is better than the boss?
